FOLLOW THE PUMPKIN TRAIL!

37 individually decorated pumpkins are on display around Trowbridge town centre until Sunday 29th October.

COMPETITION – Follow the trail and make a note of each of the numbers displayed by or on the pumpkins for a chance to win a fantastic selection of prizes, including:

• Tickets to the Christmas panto at The Civic (Goldilocks and the 3 Bears)
• A voucher to see a film at the Screening Room Cinema at Parade House (valid for 1 year)
• Oil painting tutorial from Creative Minds
• Family entry to Baloos
• Money box kit with paints and brushes from ArtyKids
• 30 minute sports massage or foot assessment at JEM Body Solutions
• Glass making workshop at Court Street Gallery

HOW TO ENTER – The challenge is to visit all of the pumpkins, make a note of the numbers displayed alongside them, or written on them. Once you have found all 37 pumpkins, add all the numbers together to find the total number and then DM us at @trowbridgechamber (IG) or Facebook with the number, or email it to info@trowbridgechamber.com. Make sure you include a contact number and/or email. The winners will be chosen at random from the correct entries on 6th November.  Good luck!

PUMPKIN DECORATION TIP – Rather than carving your pumpkins this year, please consider decorating them on the outside instead.  Your pumpkin will last much longer and you can enjoy delicious pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup or other scrummy pumpkin recipes afterwards!

PUMPKIN WASTE – Every year, a colossal 18,000 tonnes of pumpkins end up in landfill – about 360 million portions of pumpkin pie, equivalent to around £32 million of wasted food, so let’s make the most of our valuable veggies (actually they are classified as a fruit, but that’s another story!) and keep them out of landfill by eating them after Halloween.
