Wiltshire Business Show – Trowbridge

The Trowbridge Chamber was delighted to be instrumental in bringing the first Wiltshire Business Show to Trowbridge this week.

There was a wide range of interesting talks and panels celebrating skills and business growth in Wiltshire over the two-day event, many of which were hosted by Trowbridge Chamber Executive members, including Chris Humphrey, Jim James, Darren Earney and Chamber Chair Carey Tesler.

We welcomed the SW Growth Hub, the Business Cyber Centre, Salisbury BID and the Chippenham Chamber of Commerce and had some excellent discussions about Wiltshire developments and championing Trowbridge business members.

The panel discussions were joined by the Lord Lieutenant and Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire; Wiltshire MPs John Glen and Dr Andrew Murrison; Wiltshire and Trowbridge Cabinet Members and Councillors, and the Leaders of Wiltshire and Trowbridge Councils, ClIr lan Thorn and Cllr Mel Jacobs.

The Trowbridge Chamber team had a busy two days welcoming its members and other Wiltshire businesses and organisations to the Chamber stand and are delighted that several have become new members, including De Musson arts marketing and GC Paraesthetics.

Other businesses with event stands included Chamber members Monahans, Wiltshire College & University Centre, Martin Barnes Creative, Gooding Accountants and Tax Assist.

The Business Show provided an excellent opportunity to bring together Wiltshire’s businesses, Members of Parliament, council leaders and officers, and more than 500 members of the Wiltshire business community.

Many thanks to Trowbridge Chamber Executive members Jennifer Polledri, Megan Witty, Daryl Tompkins and Andy Barlow for their help setting up and manning the Chamber stand.
