Join fellow Chamber members for a scenic early evening cruise from Bradford on Avon to the stunning Avoncliff aquaduct from 6pm-8.30pm on Thursday 16th June.

Up to 40 Chamber members and guests are invited to enjoy a 2.5 hour cruise on the 65ft Barbara McLellan, along the historic Kennet and Avon canal.

Departing from the Canal Trust Cafe in Bradford on Avon, we will enter the Bradford Lock and descend 3 metres to the lower canal and then onwards to the Grade II listed Avoncliff Aqueduct, designed by John Rennie.

Subject to the weather and mooring space availability, we will have the opportunity to walk over the majestic aqueduct above the River Avon, before returning to Bradford on Avon.

Spot kingfishers, herons, ducks, swans, moorhens and other wildlife along the way, whilst enjoying drinks from the bar and on-board nibbles.

Meeting Point: The Barbara McLellan is moored by Bradford Lock, in front of the Canal Trust Cafe, BA15 1LE, just off the Frome Road (B3109). You can download a map here

Parking: Pay & Display car parking is available immediately beside the canal at the Canal and River Trust car park at the end of Baileys Barn (BA15 1BW), or at the railway station car park which is a 10 minute walk away.
