Trowbridge and the First World War
August 13 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The War Memorial was unveiled 100 years ago today and we commemorate the event with an illustrated talk on the impact the First World War had on Trowbridge.
Not only did hundreds of men join up, women joined the VAD, houses became hospitals and children collected resources for the troops at the front. It is the tale of a whole town pulling together for King and country.
The talk costs £7 per person and includes refreshments.
