Join Helen Montague Smith’S talk about Sir Isaac Pitman, Trowbridge’s most famous son, at Trowbridge Museum from 7pm-8.30pm on 22nd September.
Isaac Pitman was the inventor of Pitman Shorthand and was knighted in 1894. There will also be a selection of Pitman items from the collection on hand.
Tickets are £7 and include a glass of wine and nibbles
Please note : the Shires ASDA entrance will be open from 6pm-7pm please arrive promptly as the doors will close at 7pm and there will be no entry after this time.
Talks will last about 1 hour and a half. Please park on the top level of the ASDA car park as it is 24 hour parking
