Cyber Escape Room Challenge

April 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
ÂŁ10

🔐 Monday 13 April – 6pm-8pm – Parade House, Trowbridge

According to a UK Government survey, 43% of UK businesses and 30% of charities reported experiencing a cyber security breach or attack in the last 12 months. Phishing remains the most common threat, and most attacks rely on human behaviour rather than technical vulnerabilities, which is why cyber awareness is essential.

Join Wiltshire Police’s Cyber Protect Officers for an immersive Cyber Escape Room tabletop challenge designed to raise awareness of everyday cyber threats and the simple, practical steps individuals and organisations can take to better protect themselves online.

This fun, interactive session challenges participants to work together under pressure, solving a series of cyber‑themed puzzles and challenges. Success depends on teamwork, communication, and applying safe online behaviours — just like in the real world.

💡 What to Expect

  • A team‑based Cyber Escape Room challenge
  • A series of puzzles, clues, and decision‑making tasks
  • Opportunities for discussion, learning, and reflection
  • Guidance and insight from trained Cyber Protect officers

No technical knowledge is required — the session is designed to be engaging, accessible, and informative for everyone.

🧠 What You’ll Learn

By the end of the session, participants will have a better understanding of:

  • Common cyber threats such as phishing, password attacks, and social engineering
  • Practical steps to improve cyber safety at home and at work
  • How small changes in behaviour can significantly reduce risk
  • Why cyber security is everyone’s responsibility, not just IT’
