Trowbridge Chamber members, guests and their families enjoyed an evening of networking, drinks and a BBQ at Trowbridge Cricket Club this week.

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Trowbridge, Cllr Denise Bates, two previous Chamber presidents and the owners of a wide range of Trowbridge businesses, from established companies to exciting new start-ups. 

A number of people said it was their first visit to the club and some hadn’t realised the cricket club was there, so we were pleased to introduce members to this wonderfully historic Trowbridge venue.  The club is available for event hire and it’s only £30 a year to become a social member.

The delicious street food BBQ was provided by Trowbridge caterer Simply Delicious and drinks were enjoyed in the beamed club bar and large balcony overlooking the club grounds.

The evening was a lovely opportunity to chat to Trowbridge businesses and for members’ children to hit some balls in the nets.  

Our next networking event is on 23rd September at Trowbridge coffee importers Dusty Ape. Phil the owner will be giving us a guided tour of their delicious-smelling roastery and the chance to sample some of their award winning coffee blends.
