DESCRIPTION:Join us for a networking breakfast at Trowbridge Old Town Hall from 0830-1000 on 13th March\, followed by an informative talk by Wiltshire Police about keeping your business safe from cyber crime. \nEnjoy networking with like-minded professionals over pastries or a bacon/sausage brioche and unlimited tea/coffee at the Avonfield Kitchen Cafe. \nAfter breakfast\, we move to the historic Court Room where the Wiltshire Police Cyber Protect team will advise on how to build cyber resilience. The talk will include practical guidance on common cyber risks\, protection steps and the current threat landscape. They will also advise on strong passwords\, phishing prevention and safe online behaviour\, including the risk your digital footprint poses. \nWe hope you can join us. Please book your breakfast by Tuesday 10th March. \nPARKING – Nearest free parking is St Stephen’s multi-storey car park – Walk through the park to the Town Hall in Market Street. SUMMARY:ShopWatch Meeting - Trowbridge Businesses + Wiltshire Police
DESCRIPTION:Trowbridge town centre business owners\, managers and teams are invited to our next Shopwatch meeting at The Civic from 1130-1230 on Monday 16th March to discuss issues affecting local retailers\, with a view to reducing town centre crime and anti-social behaviour. \nPlease book your free place ASAP so we can cater accordingly. \nThe joint Trowbridge Chamber / Wiltshire Police event offers an opportunity for businesses to exchange information with the police and network with fellow businesses. \nShopwatch is a community based initiative where businesses in a specific area collaborate to prevent crime. The scheme often involves regular meetings between local shop owners\, security personnel\, and the police to discuss issues\, share information and coordinate responses to criminal activity. \nPlease note:  All businesses are encouraged to report any ASB\, shoplifting and other offences to the police and to sign up to our town centre Storenet radio system. SUMMARY:Trowbridge Easter Bunny Digital Trail
DESCRIPTION:Take part in an exciting new digital Easter Bunny trail for Trowbridge over the Easter holidays\, from Saturday 28th March to Sunday 12th April. \nTo promote the trail\, a giant Easter Bunny will be visiting Trowbridge town centre from 11:00-12:00 on Saturday 28th and hopping back again for Easter weekend. \n \nThere will be 9 locations around Trowbridge town centre featuring a Billy Bunny window display/poster.  The first stop is The Toy Shop in Castle Street\, where you scan the QR code to play the start of the Billy Bunny video and find out that someone has stolen Bunny’s Easter eggs!  Your mission is to solve the clues to find them… \nEach of the following 8 posters give answers to questions posed in the video and also feature a clue and a postcode to find the next stop on the trail.  Find all 9 locations to solve the mystery! \nThe Toy Shop has free Easter Bunny trail stickers and the second location has free mini Easter eggs to give children on the trail\, while stocks last! \nCLICK HERE FOR A PREVIEW OF THE BILLY BUNNY EASTER TRAIL  \n \nThe Billy Bunny Easter trail has been created by the Oliver twins from Trowbridge\, who  went on to become one of the UK’s leading video game producers\, at one stage producing over 15% of the UK’s number one games. \nThe twins visited Trowbridge on 24th March to promote the trail and gave a talk about their rise from bedroom coders to global game producers to pupils at their old school The Clarendon Academy and  Wiltshire College & University Centre. \n     \nLOCATIONS – If you get stuck following any of the clues\, see the BUNNY POSTER LOCATIONS – CHEAT SHEET \n  \n
