SUMMARY:ShopWatch Meeting - Trowbridge Businesses + Wiltshire Police
DESCRIPTION:Trowbridge town centre business owners\, managers and teams are invited to our next Shopwatch meeting at The Civic from 1230-1330 on Tuesday 5th May to discuss issues affecting local retailers\, with a view to reducing town centre crime and anti-social behaviour. \nPlease book your free place ASAP so we can cater accordingly. \nThe joint Trowbridge Chamber / Wiltshire Police event offers an opportunity for businesses to exchange information with the police and network with fellow businesses. \nShopwatch is a community based initiative where businesses in a specific area collaborate to prevent crime. The scheme often involves regular meetings between local shop owners\, security personnel\, and the police to discuss issues\, share information and coordinate responses to criminal activity. \nPlease note:  All businesses are encouraged to report any ASB\, shoplifting and other offences to the police and to sign up to our town centre Storenet radio system. Businesses are also advised to make a note of all the details of any incident as soon as possible afterwards for the police report and potential prosecution. \nInstalling CCTV is also recommended to add to the increasing CCTV coverage of the town centre. \nWe hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday. \nParking – Free parking in the upper floors of the multi-storey in St Stephen’s Place\, or 3hrs free parking in St Stephen’s Leisure Centre open air car park \nPlease BOOK YOUR FREE PLACE HERE
