DESCRIPTION:Join us for networking breakfast at the wonderful Cumberwell Park in Bradford on Avon with fellow Chamber members\, guests and prospective members from 0800 on Friday 23rd September. \nAfter breakfast\, there is the option to have some golf tuition at the driving range followed by some putting\, or playing a round of 9 or 18 holes. \nChamber members\, prospective members\, guests and complete beginners are welcome.  Why not use this event for a team outing? \nThe morning will begin at 0800 with full English breakfast (vegetarian & vegan options) . DESCRIPTION:This event has sadly been cancelled due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II\n10th September – Trowbridge Park\, 11 am – 4 pm\nTrowbridge Town Council is delighted to announce a brand new fun-packed event coming to Trowbridge this September! The Uniform Services Day event will be held in Trowbridge Park on 10th September 2022 and will celebrate and highlight the amazing work of the Emergency Services and Armed Forces. \nThe event will include a wide selection of stalls\, information points\, and displays from each of the emergency services. Vintage and modern vehicle displays\, dog demos\, service bands… there will be a great variety of exhibits to interest a wide audience. \nThere will be many ‘have-a-go’ activities for young and old – themed play areas for the kids\, first aid demonstrations and army boot camps to join in with\, assault courses to battle through\, and climbing walls to test your strength! DESCRIPTION:Chamber members\, prospective members\, guests and their families are welcome to the Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce’s Summer BBQ at Trowbridge Rugby Club  from 6pm-10pm on Thursday 21st July. \nThe evening will include freshly cooked BBQ food and drinks from the Club bar.  There will also be the opportunity for rugby fans of all ages to practice their passing and catching skills! \nPlease feel free to invite fellow members and business colleagues who may be interested in learning more about the Chamber and meeting new people in a fun\, relaxed atmosphere. \nThe Rugby Club has spacious terrace and grounds\, plenty of outdoor space for children to play and lots of parking.   \nThe BBQ will include burger\, hot dog\, salad\, home-made coleslaw and potato salad\, relishes\, green salad\, chutneys and sauces\, with strawberries and cream for pudding. DESCRIPTION:Join fellow Chamber members for a scenic early evening cruise from Bradford on Avon to the stunning Avoncliff aquaduct from 6pm-8.30pm on Thursday 16th June. \nUp to 40 Chamber members and guests are invited to enjoy a 2.5 hour cruise on the 65ft Barbara McLellan\, along the historic Kennet and Avon canal. \nDeparting from the Canal Trust Cafe in Bradford on Avon\, we will enter the Bradford Lock and descend 3 metres to the lower canal and then onwards to the Grade II listed Avoncliff Aqueduct\, designed by John Rennie. \nSubject to the weather and mooring space availability\, we will have the opportunity to walk over the majestic aqueduct above the River Avon\, before returning to Bradford on Avon. \nSpot kingfishers\, herons\, ducks\, swans\, moorhens and other wildlife along the way\, whilst enjoying drinks from the bar and on-board nibbles. \nMeeting Point: The Barbara McLellan is moored by Bradford Lock\, in front of the Canal Trust Cafe\, BA15 1LE\, just off the Frome Road (B3109). DESCRIPTION:Trowbridge Future High Streets Fund  – Give your feedback before 11th February \nFollowing the successful award last year of £16.347 million of Central Government funding through the Future High Streets Fund\, Wiltshire Council has been developing projects to reinvigorate Trowbridge town centre. \nThese include: \n\nPedestrian and public space enhancements in the town centre\nImprovements to the River Biss corridor\nVacant commercial unit grant\nThe renovation of the Grade II listed Town Hall and seeking a new use for Market Chambers (the old Wetherspoon’s pub).\n\nThey are now at a stage where Wiltshire Council is seeking your views and ideas .  See a YouTube slide presentation here. \nJoin the online webinar at 6pm this Monday (31 January) where Wiltshire Council will give an overview of what each project is about\, what they are proposing to do\, and what the projects aim to achieve.
