SUMMARY:Trowbridge Flower Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Trowbridge Flower Festival features a fabulous floral trail around Trowbridge town centre\, where 30 businesses and organisations are displaying colourful floral creations. \nThe trail started on 5th June to coincide with World Environment Day and Great Big Green Week\, and continues through the summer holidays to 17th August. \nDOWNLOAD YOUR TRAIL MAP HERE to follow the trail on a floral safari around the County Town of Wiltshire’s businesses\, gardens\, cafes\, pubs and other tucked away locations you may not have visited before. \nA limited number of printed festival trail maps will also be available from the Trowbridge Toy Shop\, Trowbridge Visitor Centre and Castle Place from Friday 5th June. \nShare your trail photos with the hashtag #TrowbridgeFlowerFest. \nCOMPETITION – Look out for a number displayed in the window or prominent place at each town centre location on the map.  The challenge is to add up all the numbers and email us your total. Correct answers go into a draw for prizes.  The competition ends on 17th August.  Prizes include a £50 Trowbridge Garden Centre voucher and pampering gift hamper from Nature’s Sanctuary. \nFLOWER FESTIVAL POSTER HERE– Download an event poster to promote the trail to family\, friends and colleagues. \nPROMO IMAGE – Download an event promo image to share on socials! \nEnjoy! \n

DESCRIPTION:Step back in history to the Georgian period and visit the elegant rooms of beautiful Grade I listed Parade House\, one of Wiltshire’s finest buildings built in 1720.\n\n\nEntry is free but tickets must be pre-booked in hourly slots between 10am and 3pm.  BOOK YOUR FREE TICKETS HERE. \nRefreshments will be available all day in Ushers Bar in the historic vaults of Parade House. \nBuilt in around 1720 for the wealthy cloth merchant Robert Houlton\, and recently saved from dereliction and restored to its former glory\, Parade House is one of the finest and most elegant buildings in Trowbridge\, the centrepiece of what Pevsner’s Guide to Wiltshire described as a ‘stretch of palaces’ along Fore Street. This prestigious building features quintessential Georgian architecture\, with beautifully proportioned and furnished reception rooms\, a sweeping original 18th Century staircase leading to a grand first floor ballroom with seven full height sash windows spanning the width of the building. \nOf particular note inside is the fully panelled Director’s Room with ornate ceiling and marble fireplace\, the delicate Bridgerton style Blue Drawing Room and the intricate plaster ceiling coving over the first floor landing featuring a garland of flowers and fruit.
