Trowbridge Town Council is proud to be hosting the spectacular Trowbridge Christmas Lantern Parade again in 2022 and this year we hope to make the event bigger and brighter than ever!
This year the Trowbridge Lantern Parade and Christmas Lights Switch-on will be taking place on Friday 18th of November.
The evening will start with music in Fore Street at 4pm, followed by the Lantern Parade at 6pm and Christmas lights switch on at 7pm to mark the start of Trowbridge’s festive season!
There will also be street food, a Christmas markets in The Civic and a special Weavers Christmas Market at the Town Hall/Emmanuel’s Yard from 4pm-9pm.
The Lantern Parade will feature hundreds of beautiful, colourful, handcrafted willow lanterns paraded through the town centre led by a lively and colourful samba band! Bringing a carnival feel to proceedings, the Lantern Parade will bring together the community of Trowbridge to share in the magic of Christmas and spread light throughout the town!
Please note that from 6pm-7pm, Silver St, Park Road, Market St & Fore St will be closed to traffic.
